Malibu Low Staircase Bunk Bed

The Malibu Low Staircase Bunk Bed is designed for younger kids’ rooms, with a lower overall height than a traditional bunk bed and a bottom bunk that sits directly on the floor for easy access. Choose Twin over Twin or Twin over Full, with a built-in staircase that offers a gradual route to the upper bunk and can be installed on either side during assembly. Drawers built into the steps and an integrated side shelf add useful storage without taking up additional floor space.

Why You’ll Love It

Low-Profile Design for Kids: With the bottom bunk at floor level, the Malibu keeps the overall bed height lower while giving younger children easy access to the lower sleep space.

Twin over Twin or Twin over Full: Choose a Twin over Twin bunk bed for a more compact setup or Twin over Full when you want a roomier lower bunk.

Built-In Staircase: Wide steps provide a more gradual way to reach the upper bunk, and the staircase can be installed on either side during assembly to work better with the room layout.

Storage Built Into the Steps: Drawers tucked into the staircase provide convenient space for clothing, toys, blankets, and other everyday essentials.

Integrated Side Shelf: A built-in shelf creates an easy spot for books, small toys, and bedtime essentials without adding another piece of furniture.

Full-Length Upper Guardrails: Guardrails along the upper bunk help create a more secure sleep space while maintaining the bed’s clean, slatted design.

Solid Wood Construction: Built with solid wood and wood veneer, supportive bed slats, and a non-toxic, low-VOC finish for dependable everyday use.

Mattress Fit & Weight Capacity: The upper bunk supports up to 300 lbs and the lower bunk supports up to 600 lbs. A 6–8 inch mattress is recommended for proper fit and upper guardrail clearance.
